Global Boxes is a Trans-Express branded service that provides cardholders with the ability to shop on line from US Stores and receive the orders worldwide.
Global Boxes will take care of "trans-shipping" your Catalog or Internet orders to your home or office.
Global Boxes, offers two service levels:

Basic
1. The Global Boxes Basic service is provided by Trans-express, Inc to foreign individuals and companies whose intention is to keep a permanent U.S address to use as their own. The basic service is limited to the handling of parcels, packages and freight only. It will not allow for the handling of mail, correspondence or magazines. To receive mail the client MUST register for the Global Boxes Premium service. The Basic Service includes: Access to a street address in the USA, receiving of parcels, packages and freight in behalf of client, processing and classification, issuing of export documentation, international shipping, customs clearance and home or business delivery.
2. Global Boxes Basic service has no Registration Fee. Once registered the cardholder only pays for shipping and handling. Global Boxes Premium service has a $30.00/yr registration fee. It provides the user access of a USPS Postal Box Address in addition to a Street address for the handling of mail. The annual fee is automatically charged to the credit card upon expirationThe Client has thirty days to advise Trans-Express of its intent to cancel the service. The (U.S. $0.00) Registration Fee will apply if client receives parcels, packages or freight even when notice of cancellation was provided to Trans-Express.
3. The Client, upon registering for the service, authorizes Trans-Express, Inc to automatically charge his/her credit card on record for the yearly Registration Fee plus all Shipping and handling of parcels, packages and freight addressed to the Clients' USA address. The Client also authorizes Trans-Express, Inc to charge any and all costs that could possible be incurred while handling the Clients' shipments, including: custom duties and taxes, warehousing fees, custom brokerage fee, Special documentation fees, or special handling fees. It is customary for Trans-Express, Inc to first seek authorization of this charges from Client, but Tran-Express, Inc reserves the right to charge the fees even without the client's previous consent. The Client also waives any right to generate charge backs when a Proof-of-delivery is available. The only exception to this rule is when charge backs are a consequence of a fraudulent transaction.
4. Custom duties and taxes are not part of the Global Boxes Basic service. They must be paid for at delivery. The Client must make payment of custom duties and taxes according to the instructions received by Trans-Express, its agent or authorized representative.
5. The applicable Shipping and Handling rates are those posted on the Web Site as of the date the shipment is received at Trans-Express' facilities in Miami. Different rates apply to destinations considered off-line (cities other than Capital). The off-line rates, when applicable, are also posted on the Web site.
6. The units used for billing are US dollar and pounds (lb). The charges are done as listed on each country rate chart. The conversion used for lbs into Kilograms is 450 grams equal 1 lb.
7. The rates posted on the Web Site do not include fees and charges from Client's Issuing Bank. To learn about this fees please call your credit card's Issuing Bank.
8. All shipments might be subject to dimensional weight. Dimensional weight applies only when the dimension of the shipment, calculated as follows: Length, X width X depth (in inches) divided by 166, is higher than its physical weight.
9. All shipments are insured for up to US$100.00 per occurrence.
10. Rates are subject to change without previous notice.
11. Trans-Express, Inc is the logistics company providing the Global Boxes service. Trans-Express, Inc responsibility consists in the effective handling of your mail, packages and freight in accordance with the Terms and Conditions listed on this section. You may also contact Trans-Express, Inc local agent for inmediate assistance.
12. It is the sole responsibility of the Client to keep his/her information current, including, credit card and delivery information. Failure to keep it current might cause delays in deliveryand/or additional costs in handling.
13. The Global Boxes Service is not meant for the use in illicit or illegal purposes. Trans-Express,Inc works with US and foreign government agencies to identify and legally stop individuals, institutions or companies from using the Global Boxes service to commit crime.
14. Trans Express, In as the Logistics operator of Global Boxes, reserves the right to stop any merchandise that it suspects or it identifies as being acquired by means of a fraudulent or illegal transaction. The data obtained in these cases is provided to local and international authorities that monitor and fight fraud on line.
15. Trans Express, Inc. do not assume any responsibility with respect to the quality, amount, marks or to any other aspect of the merchandise or services that the client acquires, purchases or obtains with the intent to be transported by Trans-Express' Global Boxes program. All claims, comments and/or disputes in regards to this matter should be addressed directly to the commercial establishment, merchant or person where client bought, acquired and/or obtained the goods or merchandise from.
16. Trans-express,Inc reserve the right to dispose in the manner it sees fit of any and all goods and merchandise that are held in Miami and which exceedes six months since first recived at its facilities. Mail and correspondence will be kept for thirty days before returning to sender.The customer is responsible for any cost incurred in the returning of mail and desposing of goods and merchandise.
Hazardous Materials: Perfumes, spray cans, inks, chemicals, perishables,dry ice, merchandise considered flammable, corrosive or explosive can NOT be shipped thru this program. Any merchandise received at our Miami facilities and considered hazardous shall be automatically returned to origin and/or appropriately dispose of and its handling charged to the Customer's credit card on record.

Premium
1. The Global Boxes Premium service is provided by Trans-Express, Inc to foreign individuals and companies who register for the service on-line. The Premium service provides the cardholder with access to a USPS Postal Box address for the handling of mail and correspondence in addition to a Street address for the handling of pacakges and freight. The Premium Service includes: Access to a street address in the USA, Access to a proprietary P.O. Box address, receiving of mail, parcels, packages and freight in behalf of client, processing and classification, issuing of export documentation, international shipping, customs clearance and home or business delivery.
2. The Non-refundable Registration fee for the Global Boxes Premium service is $30.00/yr plus Shipping and handling of client's mail, parcels, packages or freight. The registration fee is automatically charged to the Client's credit card on all subsequent years. The Client has thirty days to advise Trans-Express of its intent to cancel the service. The (U.S. $30.00) Registration Fee will apply if client receives parcels, packages or freight even when notice of cancellation was provided to Trans-Express.
